My April show came together over the past two years, sparked by early pandemic longings for optimism, freedom and color.  Over time the pieces developed a more grounded, bodily O'Keefe-inspired expression, as I found more purpose in a time of chaos within connection to my own body and the people around me.  The creation of this work has been about bridging the space between the inner human world and the greater natural environment, the real and abstract, the small and the spacious.
